Maps

Thursday, June 27th
through Saturday, June 29th

3 days, 3 states

with overnight home base just outside of West Philadelphia

for adults and children ages 12/entering 7th grade and up

(children ages 8/entering 3rd grade and up on a case-by-case basis)

We are excited for our all-church mission trip this summer!

We will be serving together for three full days (Thursday morning through Saturday evening) - in Pennsylvania with a church just outside of West Philadelphia, in New Jersey at a neighborhood center in Camden, and in Delaware with refugee resettlement in Wilmington.

In the evenings, we will have guided opportunities to engage in story sharing and prayer with our host church where 95% of members come from immigrant backgrounds and to engage in some learning experiences in the local community.

Our overnight home base and space for breakfasts and dinners and time to connect as a group will be the church.

This year's mission trip will cost $150 per person which includes all housing, meals, materials, and any expenses and programming costs at the service sites and the host church.

Housing, Meals etc.

Housing:

We will be sleeping in the sanctuary of our host church for our two nights on-site. Think indoor camping, with the perks of air-conditioning, power, and a bathroom nearby. :) BYO air mattresses, sleeping bags, pillow and whatever else you need to be comfortable. We will send out more information to all who are coming on the trip as it gets closer, and you can always reach out with questions as well.

Meals:

We will have breakfast and dinner on-site at our host church. Breakfast will include options like cereal, bagels, eggs, fruit etc. Dinner will be our hot meal. Lunches will be sandwiches, chips and fruit packed to go, and we'll eat at our service sites. Food allergies and some dietary needs can be accommodated, and there will be space to share those on the registration form in early May.

Bathrooms/Showers:

First Floor: 1 very large powder room with 1 toilet, 1 sink, and plenty of room to change (right outside of the sanctuary)

Basement - Men's Room: 1 toilet stall, 2 urinals, 1 sink, 1 shower

Basement - Ladies' Room: 2 toilet stalls, 1 sink, 1 shower

If you have additional questions, please reach out to Stef anytime.

Give

Give to our Mission Trips Fund during the month of April!

This will allow us to give financial support to all who would find it helpful so that finance do not get in the way of anyone going on the trip. (The fund is also open year-round to give towards future trips.)
